The new X-Plane
version 9 program is available and quite different in
operation from version 8. For that reason we have
written an all new version 9. The new manual is
available in three different formats, each with a
specific purpose in mind, but all containing the same
text. They are listed and explained here.
X-Plane Operation Manual Version 9 - Small. This is the version shipping with the X-Plane program. It is comb bound printed on 6 1/4” X 8 1/2” 32 lb. high quality glossy paper. The new version 9 manual has over 36 figures in over 200 pages and it giving a clear picture of the menu operations.
The Manual has every control and menu item covered in detail with chapters on installation, your first flight, how to get the highest frame rate with your hardware and many more.
The current shipping version is a new rewrite of the manual. The rewrite version is only available in this Small version. You can see this version and the large version on the Contents page.
